The NP is strong with !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .*
*Assuming of course it’s well taken care of as it looks to be from the two pictures, with no major issues and a clean history.

I had almost forgotten about Buick’s awkward years full of porthole vents. It’s like they all disappeared. Or the owners died and the family gave the cars to Goodwill. Probably that.

My grandpa had one just like this only blue. It got rammed into the back of a truck.

The portholes were alive and kicking through the early 2000's at least. My wife’s Lucerne has porthole vents. I can’t stand them, but she likes the car, and the 3.8 is very reliable.

Other than Dexcool paranoia, why not? Probably the easiest to maintain supercharged car out there.

I used to know a guy who had a Park Ave Ultra that dumped the Supercharger, added a 72mm turbo, built the transmission and trapped 118mph in the quarter mile. The series-2 3800 v6 took to added boost so well. Such an awesome sleeper!
This isn’t the same car, but you get the idea of what can be done:

I actually don’t think they’re so bad on the Lucerne — that car is so clean, it almost needed the adornment.

Dexcool isn’t paranoia, its real. I helped a friend flush his Impala in high school. The shit that came out of that car was nasty.

I especially like the review attached to the cars.com web site.
“I just purchased a 1998 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. I am in love with this car! I test drove a Grand Marquis but found this had better value and more features. I was skeptical with the dealer who offered me to test drive this baby, but once inside I was sold. I got leather seats, sunroof, 8 speaker sound system with duel CD/Cassette and the ultra comes with all the bells and whistles you expect in a luxury vehical. I am glad my nissan was stolen because I would have never thought to replace my car with a Park Avenue Ultra. It is a keeper and I am sold on the V-6 engine with the power to pass up traffic and that it was recently compared to that of a Jag. My only complaint is that I don’t have enough time to take it on a road trip. It loves the highway and so quiet you’ll only hear your Mozart instead of road noise. It’s like having the comforts of home in one nice package.”

Oh I know, my uncle lost the engine in his old LeSabre to it. But he liked the car so much, he got it fixed.
Paranoia in knowing whether or not it has been maintained properly, or dealt with.

Buick still very much has portholes, they’re just a bit more subtle.

If you don’t buy it, I will. I love these supercharged yachts.

There’s a story behind those wheels.
Anyway, NP for sure.
